Woman pulled from the water at Windang Beach unconscious | Illawarra Mercury

A woman is in a critical condition after being pulled from the water at Windang Beach on Saturday afternoon. Just after 3pm, the woman in her 50s was pulled from the water unconscious and CPR was performed while waiting for ambulance paramedics to arrive. Upon arrival ambulance officers treated the woman before rushing her to Wollongong Hospital in a critical condition. Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were also assisted by Surf Lifesaving NSW during the incident. The Illawarra Mercury newsroom is funded by our readers.
