Tino Fa’asuamaleaui signs long-term Gold Coast Titans deal through 2026

The Gold Coast Titans have received a significant boost with young forward Tino Fa’asuamaleaui re-committing to the club on a long-term deal.

The 21-year-old’s contract extension will see him remain in the Gold Coast through the 2026 season.

After starting his NRL career at the Melbourne Storm, Fa’asuamaleaui made the move up north prior to the 2021 season before winning the Paul Broughton Medal as the Titans’ player of the year in his first season at the club.

Fa’asuamaleaui’s debut season also saw his side reach the finals for the first time since 2016, and coach Justin Holbrook was thrilled to secure his long-term commitment.

“Tino is not just a great player, he is a great person,” Holbrook said.

“He’s only entering his second pre-season here at the Titans, but he has already made a huge impact on the players, staff and everyone involved in our club.

“Tino is our hardest working player who sets very high standards for himself and is always doing extras after training to improve his game.

“He is completely invested in what we are developing here on the Coast with his long term extension proving this and alongside a group of mates that are all around the same age, we’ve got a wonderful core group of young players that can bring success to the Gold Coast in the years to come.”
