Police are asking for public assistance to help locate a Gold Coast man who went missing on the weekend.

Police are asking for public assistance to help locate a 60-year-old Gold Coast man who went missing.

Clifford Thomson from Upper Coomera went missing on Sunday afternoon.

He was last seen on a blue pushbike without a helmet on Hargraves Rd, Upper Coomera about 3.00pm on Sunday.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition and may be agitated and confused.

Mr Thomson is described as 170cm tall, slim build, caucasian with short grey hair and a stubble beard.

He was last seen wearing a black hat, blue and grey striped shirt, sunglasses, blue shorts with a pink floral pattern and green runners with grey socks.

Mr Thomson is new to the area and residents are urged to report any sightings, particularly in northern parks on the Gold Coast.

Police are urging Mr Thomson, or anyone else with information on his whereabouts, to contact Policelink 131444.

Police looking for answers following road rage assault

Police are calling on anyone with information on an assault of a female driver at Broadbeach Waters on Thursday to come forward.

Officers investigating the assault of the woman are appealing for witnesses and dashcam vision.

At about 8.30am on Thursday two vehicles, a maroon Honda Civic sedan and a silver BMW sedan, were travelling southbound on Bundall Rd when a minor collision occurred between them.

Police are calling on anyone with information on an assault of a female driver at Broadbeach Waters on Thursday to come forward.

Both cars pulled over at the intersection on Framar St and the people in the vehicles got out.

The driver of the Honda, a 39-year-old woman, was allegedly punched, kicked and spat on by the three females from the BMW.

The woman returned to her car and locked herself in.

A Queensland Police spokesperson said anyone who witnessed the incident or had relevant dashcam vision were urged to contact police.

Officers asked for information relating to the manner of driving of the vehicles in the lead-up to the incident, the spokesperson said.

Boy run over on private property rushed to hospital

Paramedics, including the critical care and high acuity response unit have transported a boy to hospital after he was run over on a private property.

The incident at Labrador occurred at 3.50pm and the boy was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition, according to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman.

He said the boy, who is primary school age, suffered facial injuries.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said a reversing car on Robert St hit the young child.
