KINGMAN – Police in Kingman are investigating the circumstances that led to the demise of a suspect whereas he was within the custody of Bullhead City cops who had been transporting him to the Mojave County jail.
The 35-year-old Bullhead City man who was arrested on an aggravated assault cost in a hospital emergency room Thursday night time is suspected to have killed himself within the police van, Bullhead City police mentioned Friday.
Kingman police are investigating the in-custody demise. The sufferer’s identify has not been launched.
The transport officer reported the person described as a transient was unresponsive upon arrival on the jail about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Bullhead City police mentioned.
He had been booked on the police station after he was arrested about 7 p.m. at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, the place he was accused of assaulting an emergency room technician, police mentioned.
