Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan says there have been some “truly heartwarming moments” among the many distress being witnessed in Ukraine.
Mr Morgan confirmed footage of Ukrainian newlyweds – Oksana Balandina and Viktor Vasyliv – who not too long ago shared their first dance at a hospital in Lviv.
The groom was holding his spouse in his arms after Ms Balandina misplaced each legs and 4 fingers following a landmine blast which occurred because the pair had been strolling to their house.
“Congratulations to Oksana and Viktor,” Mr Morgan mentioned.
“What a wonderful end to what must have been an absolutely appalling few weeks for the couple.”
