Friends of the Verde River presents ‘River Stories,’ an in-person storytelling event | The Verde Independent

Friends of the Verde River is happy to announce “River Stories”, an in-person storytelling occasion, on May 26, 7-9 p.m. on the Mary D. Fisher Theatre in Sedona.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $25. Tickets could also be bought on-line at or on the door on the day of the occasion, relying on availability.

This occasion will embody dwell storytelling, poetry, music, interpretive dance, and extra by performers from throughout the state. This two-hour neighborhood occasion will function 12+ performers sharing tales of river experiences and adventures. Bar and concession companies shall be out there on the occasion.

This dwell, in-person occasion is the grand finale for Listening to the Verde Season 2 (, a video collection from Friends of the Verde River that’s designed to attach Verde Valley residents to the individuals, locations, nature, and tradition of the Verde River.
